Testimonials from attendees of the Women in Blue Jeans Conference

"You have no idea how women relate to a few short hours away from family, schedules and deadlines, and how it is so important that we just find a way to reconnect with our lives and how this conference has helped us to do just that. You've allowed over 300 women to relax, laugh, and refocus on the important issues we must deal with each day. Thanks for your vision to support such a worthwhile endeavor."
Rose Bosworth, Plankinton SD - 2006

"I was so honored to be nominated for the Inspiration award. Being at the WIBJ conference is like being surrounded by a tremendous support team! It's just plain awesome! I wouldn't miss it! It's the highlight of the winter."
Dar Englemeyer, Alexandria SD - 2006

"The women in blue jeans weekend was enjoyable as well as relaxing. It was fun meeting so many strong women in agriculture and learning their stories. It was also a nice opportunity to do some networking and meet people in the career field I am interested in. All in all I had a great time."
Shanna Ibarolle, Agribusiness Student NECC, Norfolk, NE - 2006

"I recently attended the Women in Blue Jeans conference in Mitchell South Dakota and thought that it was very informative with all the different sections to choose from. Some of them will be very beneficial in helping me to make further decisions. My favorite one was "Why daffodils and lily's should date". I would recommend going to one of these conferences to my friends and family. "
Jennifer Johnson, Ag Transfer Student NECC, Norfolk, NE - 2006

"I can't begin to tell you what a wonderful time I had at Women In Blue Jeans. I feel like I have been doing a commercial for you all week long. Everyone I met I told them about WIBJ and the variety of things that I had learned and laughed about. I have a whole new group of attendees for you for next year. Our office is ready to close up shop and attend. You mentioned how every year it gets better- I can't image how! I think that it was a God thing for me to have been there."
Kathy Johnson, Mitchell SD - 2006

"What an awesome experience to meet women with many of the same life experiences and interests that I have."
Cheryl Plucker, Chancellor SD - 2006

"Thank you for the very organized information, you did an excellent job! The information on overall health and managing stress are a must in today’s society. I took away lots of useful practical information I could put in practice immediately. The entertainment was awesome. Keep up the good work and I look forward to next year!"
Bonnie Schulz Agriculture Technology Instructor NECC, Norfolk, NE - 2006

"When I attended my 1st WIBJ in 2004, I was a new farm bride. After moving from the city, I learned many things from marketing grain to where to buy the best work gloves. Every year I look forward to attending WIBJ to learn more & make new friends."
Kate E. Wollman, Bridgewater SD - 2006
